Waiter
You are responsible for restaurant service on cruise and river vessels: table setup, taking orders, service and closing. It is one of the most guest-facing roles, so language and manner matter as much as technical skill.

Shifts are built around meal times, with breaks between breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Service continues while the ship is in port; leave is given on rotation.

Can I start as a waiter without restaurant experience?
Some owners accept candidates without experience, others do not. Shore-side restaurant experience is the strongest advantage; without it, starting as a busser and moving up internally is often the more realistic route. We tell you which door is open in the first consultation.
